Indianmeal Moths

Indianmeal moths are small, copper-colored pantry pests commonly found infesting stored food products throughout homes. These moths have distinctive reddish-brown wing tips and cream-colored wing bases, making them easily identifiable among household pests. They typically infest cereals, grains, nuts, dried fruits, and pet food, with larvae creating silken webs and leaving behind frass in contaminated products. Look for adult moths flying around kitchens and pantries, especially in the evening, or check stored food containers for larvae, webbing, and small holes in packaging materials.
